This padded calfskin leather strap is crafted from buttery-smooth hides, finished with a rich, oiled antique treatment that deepens in tone and character over time.

The moment it wraps around your wrist, the soft pull-up effect comes alive—lightening at points of bend, darkening at points of rest—giving Cartographer™ a dynamic, travel-worn personality reminiscent of old leather journals and hand-inked maps.

The default configuration features our polished, monogrammed Well Worn Watch buckle, but can be elevated with our premium clasp upgrade to Monarch™ — our elegant butterfly deployant

Meridian™ and Endeavor™ — our concealed-tail deployant will also work but may show the tang notch.

The Cartographer's Palette

Shaped by the hues of engraved copperplates, ground pigments, and parchment charts, Cartographer's color palette is indelibly reminiscent of an age of handcrafted tools by old-world artisans and meticulously drawn maps chronicling uncharted and unimaginable new worlds.

Inkstone Black — A deep, soot-rich black inspired by the ink stones and pigment blocks used by early mapmakers to grind their darkest inks. Smooth, timeless, and essential — the foundational shade of antique cartography.

Chartline Blue — A shadowy, near-navy indigo reminiscent of the deep blue lines drawn across historic French nautical charts. Subtle shadowy-blue undertones evoke sea-depth shading and the cool tones of aging map pigments.

Copperplate Brown — A warm, red-brown tone inspired by the copperplate engraving process that defined centuries of mapmaking. Rich, artisanal, and unmistakably old-world — the color of etched metal plates and worn drafting tools.

Parchment Tan — A soft, warm tan reflecting the aged vellum and hand-touched scrolls used for early map charts and explorer journals. Earthy, natural, and authentically antique in character.
